Shared my thoughts on Facebook before I hit the hay after visiting the babies. Must note this on this blog.
To each one of you we are thankful for your support and love. Mostly your prayers reach out to us as we are seeing God’s work in progress with our babies during NICU. Please keep them coming. Daddy and Mommy are deeply touched with whole process. Surgical team were dancing with joy as we all made it through. Gave me waves of compliments for being a trooper through painful ordeal. We had to transfer another hospital at midnight and in the middle of contractions; but we survived and the blessings came at the end of tunnel. My husband has been so amazing with the kids and me that I have fallen in love all over again. Thank you for making the time to visit us. We love you!
To the visitors who came,
For the past two days we had wonderful visitors who came by in the last two days. Thank you Mom for taking care of me and my family. Auntie Terrie and auntie Pinkie, thank you for coming by and bringing Natalie, Miranda and Caleb to visit and giving the flowers. Also thanking you for helping us with the move and looking after our kids Miranda and Caleb. Thank you Uncle Randy and auntie Elaine for visiting us on Sunday with beautiful flowers. And thank you for helping us out with the house. Thank you Joe, Julie, and J-Lo for visiting and brining the flowers with balloons. Thank you Grandpa Ray and Grandma Patty for coming by to check on me and meeting the babies. The flowers you gave us was beautiful! Thank you Patty for coming out with special gifts and meeting the babies. Having visitors really lift our spirits up while our babies are in NICU. You all made us feel loved and blessed!

Today Tracy was able to move around and came to the NICU and see the babies for the first time since the operating room. We also learned of “Touch Times”, which are specific times that you allowed to hold the babies outside of the isolettes for a short period when the nurse was doing her checks and the babies were likely awake.
News of the day was that Lucas had come off the CPAP machine and was breathing on his own now. Lucas and Kasey were also removed from the CPAP but still required respiratory help so they were wearing breath tubes under the nose that would help regulate breathing by forcing air into them.
Lucas and Kasey’s bloodwork came back showing high bilirubin levels. The nurse explained this was because they had a high level of red blood cells while inside that were now starting to break down but that babies livers were not developed enough yet to filter it out causing Jaundice. The levels were higher than normal but not yet at a level to be nervous about. They were now receiving phototherapy and laying bare skinned on “Bili lights” that help the body break down the cells so the babies can pass it through waste also. They were all so calm and peaceful.
So many people came by today to see both Mom and the babies and I am grateful to everyone who was able to come by! Although it took many trips back and forth, I was proud to show off the triplets to everyone who wanted to see them.
