9/25 – Sibling Sundaes – Our 3 little miracles

Matthew continued to gain weight much to our happiness and Kacey took the title as the first of the triplets to finish an entire bottle. It was an amazing achievement that left her physically drained for the rest of the day so we just gave her some love as she was fed through her tube.

Today was the day Caleb has been waiting two weeks to arrive…Sibling Sunday where he finally gets to go and meet his little brothers and sister. It started in the conference room where Caleb and many other children went to a class where they learned about where the babies are and about the wires, tubes, and IV’s are for. Once the class was finished, we walked to the NICU and his excitement grew and he met Kacey for the first time. Seeing the excitement and happiness in his face really made my day! After a visit with his siblings, we returned to the classroom where he enjoyed some ice cream and made some cards for Lucas, Matthew, and Kacey.
