9/26 -One milestone down!

Lucas – 4lbs, 12oz

Matthew – 4lbs, 2oz

Kacey – 3lbs, 15oz

The triplets were moved into cribs overnight!!

We were surprised to learn that the doctor felt that the babies have made enough progress in regulating their own body temperature that they were moved from their incubators into cribs overnight! The nurse also told me that Kasey again took her early feeding entirely from the bottle for the second day. The bigger surprise was that Matthew also took his entire bottle without any problem. Got to enjoy some quality time with all three.

Nurses report said that all the weights were up. Lucas and Matthew have not not any Apnea in the last two days. Kacey had her first Apnea since the 13th but I still think the news today was great! The doctors are now switching the supplements they have been adding to Tracy’s milk to “Neosure” which is supposed to be something we can get in the store to help them grow as well as expand the available milk supply if needed.

I don’t want to get my hopes up too much and know they could stay until at least Halloween but the events of today have really given us both so much hope that maybe sooner rather than later could actually happen.
