Matthew – 4lbs, 2oz
Kacey – – 4lbs, 1oz

Kacey crossed into the 4lb range with her two brothers and took a bottle for the 3rd day in a row! She’s doing great with her morning feeds but it takes a lot out of her and she doesn’t have much for the rest of the day meaning she’ll take 10-15ml fir any other feeding but I think it’s great progress.
Matthew had two pretty significant Apnea episodes today after not having any since the 24th. He’s fought so hard and I’m just so proud of him! He does love his time with Mom and Dad thought. He gets hiccups when he’s stressed but when I held him today, just talking to him and rubbing his back, I could feel him calm down and he quickly fell asleep. Good bonding time.
Lucas is still definitely the “older one”. Every time we wake him, he knows it’s time and starts rooting for food and when he doesn’t get it quickly, he’s on to his hands.
All the babies seem to be doing well with regulating their body temperatures. Matthew lost about 50grams (1/2oz) that they attributed to a cut in his bottle feed when he breastfed so they upped his feeding to the original levels. We are loving the cribs because it feels like they are so much more accessible and easier to calm when they are fussy. It’s much easier to do the checks and change diapers without having to reach through those two small doors. The doctors and nurses here have been incredibly encouraging and I’m feeling that maybe it was more of a blessing we wound up here. I can see why it’s considered to be the best in Central Texas.

Those sweet little faces!! Little Angels! 💗💗💗
